
Renée Searle
Renée Searle established Threefold Architects with a desire to deliver buildings that do more for us. Her focus is the strategic vision of housing and the creation of effective, harmonious neighbourhoods which help us be more productive, healthier & inspired. She was director in charge of Threefold’s New Addington & Fieldway Masterplan for Brick X Brick and is currently the lead architect on a mixed-use scheme providing 10,000 sqft of flexible workspace and 70 residential units in Haringey.
Renée has extensive experience in designing inspirational, practical and economical workspaces which meet the requirements of today’s work force. She was design lead for the winning competition submission for the Crown Estate to re-envision their commercial portfolio in line with modern modes of working. A desire for excellence is one of Renee’s primary motivations. She leads Threefold’s practice thought progression programme, initiating events and talks, inviting guests and speakers to crossover and explore themes including the future of the work place, co-living & co-housing initiatives.
Renée is a member of Ealing Council’s Design Review Panel and has taught Architecture and Design at the Bartlett, UCL and The University of the Arts and headed a lecture and seminar course at the University of Syracuse, London.
