Architect, Jestico + Whiles
Jessica joined Jestico + Whiles in 2015, having previously worked at another high-profile London practice. She subsequently completed her full professional training whilst working at Jestico + Whilesand is also now qualified as a Conservation Registrant on the RIBA’s Conservation Register. Jessica has a keen interest in the restoration and refurbishment of heritage assets, particularly those involving contemporary interventions. At her previous practice, Jessica gained experience working largely on heritage projects, including the conversion of a Victorian terraced property within the Chelsea Park / Carlyle Conservation Area into high-end apartments for the Sloane Stanley Estate, and the renovation of a former Victorian bank building and adjacent Regency / Late Georgian Villa within the Pembridge Conservation Area in London into high-end residential and restaurant use. At Jestico + Whiles, Jessica’s work has concentrated in the cultural / heritage and education sectors. A key project for her has been the restoration and extension of one of the UK’s key cultural heritage assets in the form of the RIBA National Award-winning Sir John Soane’s Grade-I Listed Pitzhanger Manor, working closely alongside Julian Harrap Architects.
