Home to the first purpose built Design District due to open in 2020, Greenwich Peninsula is a new place inventing itself; an evolving community that in ten years’ time will be the capital’s most boldly modern cultural landscape. You'll find everything from affordable desk space to dirty workshops giving a rare insight into artist's lives, a market hall spanning a range of cuisines, rooftop basketball and a plethora of shops all united by a landscape that celebrates openness and social interaction.
As well as hosting the infamous O2 arena, the area boasts an Art Trail, is home to the NOW Gallery, plus a number of public installations including not one but two Damien Hirst sculptures.
The area will truly come alive with the buzz of activity, creatives, inspiration and ideas that perfectly aligns with Design London's celebration of the capitals thriving design scene.
